Electrocoagulation
Electrocoagulation is a fast, safe, and minimally invasive method for removing smaller skin lesions such as fibromas, seborrheic keratoses, warts, angiomas, keratoses, and other benign lesions. It is performed under local anesthesia, and high-frequency current precisely "burns" the targeted lesion with minimal bleeding and a short procedure time. The procedure lasts only a few minutes, and recovery is usually mild — with simple skin care instructions for the following days. Electrocoagulation is ideal for lesions that are aesthetically bothersome, irritate clothing, or frequently bleed. At the Priska Med Polyclinic, the procedure is performed by a dermatologist after a prior assessment of the lesion, to confirm that it is suitable for removal by this method.
